Nazareth Academy High School Reviews

My daughter is now a junior at Nazareth Academy. I believe she is being prepared to go out into the world and also being prepared for college. I have found the teachers and Sisters to be helpful and very interested in the girls progress at their school.

I am a proud graduate of NA. Nazareth sent me off into the real world well-prepared for the demands of college.

Nazareth academy is a wonderful all-girl high school for talented and intellectually gifted young women. The staff, as well as the student body, are hardworking, lovely and caring to towards eachother. All sports, music, art and activities are available and well populated by the students. The girls here are always ready and willing to help out a cause or to show some panda pride.

My daughter has just completed her sophomore year at Nazareth. While she is probably in the lowest third academically, words cannot express how the discipline, nurturing and support has helped her develop in to a promising young woman. The Sisters and faculty are totally dedicated to the girls and deliver a good balance of academic, artistic and sports challenges, with lots of fun added in. They take the time to get to know your daughter, encourage her strengths, challenge her weaknesses, and provide stability to counter the sometimes unstable atmosphere at home. Your daughter will have a love/hate relationship with Nazareth - hating the challenge, but loving the encouragement and support - but each senior class has shown us that love will win in the end. There are ample opportunities for parental involvement and access to faculty. I highly recommend Nazareth and encourage you to consider our school for your daughter.

I am a graduate of Nazareth. All of my friends went on to different high schools. I have to say that I am so grateful I chose to go here. The level of education here is phenomenal. There is so much personal interaction between student/teacher. The staff is so supportive both on an educational level, and a personal one. I didn't go on to college until 6 years after graduation, yet I hardly forgot a thing, and was actually able to skip certain college courses thanks to my knowledge. The education taught at Nazareth lasts a lifetime due to their methods of teaching. There are so many after school activities to get involved with, also. If I could go back to high school, I'd go back to Nazareth every time, again and again! Don't let your daughter miss this once in a lifetime opportunity.

When we were ready to send our daughter to high school, we wanted a school that provided an excellent education. We looked at the courses that were offered at numerous other catholic high schools in our area, but no other school offered the selection of courses that Nazareth academy did. The College Prep classes are another story .The courses are strong and the school has very committed teachers who get the girls excited about learning. The school has been around for 75 years and the community is very involved. We believe that we made the right choice in selecting Nazareth Academy for our daughter's high school education. If she decides to go on to college, we are very sure that she will have met all the requirements necessary to advance to the next level of school.
