“Cardinal Dougherty is an excellent school; I graduated last year and I still wish I could go back. Dougherty offers not only a rigorous academic cirriculum, but also a chance to come into your own. I entered that school shy and with absolutely no self-esteem. In contrast to my joyous attitude toward 8th grade graduation, I cried during our graduation because I knew I was going to miss it so much. The teachers, students, and staff at Dougherty really do care about you; if you're anything like me and my friends, you'll feel so at home there that you'll joke about pitching a tent in the hallways, because it's a waste of time to go home at 5,6,7,8 PM and then be back the next morning.And, as if all this wasn't enough, you'll have the chance to interact with the beautiful students of Our Lady of Confidence- they'll change your life.”

They do in fact offer many AP Classes, and by the success of past students it is obvious that it prepares students for college and beyond. I do not think their is a better school in Philadelphia. Attending CD was the best decision I have ever made”

“Cardinal Dougherty was not one of the best high schools in the area. Dougherty had a good student body,however they lacked on the academic arena. The do not offer that many AP courses and they do not set up students to be successful in college. Sure its a 'nice' school but how will that help in the real world?”
