St. Martin of Tours School Reviews

this school was okkk. nothing excting.. typical school that's all. the teachers were strict when they needed to be. however, there were times when it was 30-40 kids in one room. How can a teacher teach well like that?

great school it has help my children with discipline and learning skills.

Their are to many kids in a classroom. I believe it can and will hinder a childs learning ability. Less kids and more time for one on one between students and teacher. To many students does't allow the teacher to know there student weakness or there strong point.

SMT is an Awesome school with the Best teachers. I agree with being money hungry, but that is all Catholic schools. I do not have anything bad to say about SMT. I enjoyed getting to know everyone, and being involved with all the extra activities was alot of fun.

I think this is a very good school. The best one out of every school in Philadelphia!

Very good school. Teachers are wonderful.

Great school. My son left one school to St. Martin of Tours and is doing well. I have reviewed the curriculum and find it excellent.

St. Martin of Tours is one of the better schools in my opinion in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. They have a fair amount of academics and lots of extracurricular activities. Parent involvement has decreased some but hopefully will increase over the next few years.

great school with activities for everyone. we could use a little more volunteers from parents but overall a great school.

They have great after school programs and CCD programs.

My son is in his second year at this school. I have enjoyed the teachers and staff. I can see an improvement in his desire to read and learn. I am pleased with St. Martin. By the way, my son sings on the junior chorus and has his first 'concert' in a few days.

A good school for education but, it seems as though they have gotten too 'money hungry'. This seems to take away from positive attributes of the school.

I personally think that SMT is an awesome school. They meaning the faculty do take their time with the children. They also recognize if there is a learning problem they offer all kinds of help. They do not let it get by. Where at another area Catholic grade school they let the children slide by. We also have a great deal of parents who care and give alot of there time to help out.

This is a great school. The curriculum and the dedication of the teachers is outstanding.

I am a guardian for a current student, a former student and a parishioner of St. Martin of Tours. I continue to be impressed by the dedication of the faculty members in educating the students academically and in the area of life skills that they will use throughout their lives.

the best grade school in the whole City, State and the USA. The teachers are so good that my children love school and want to go each day.

No. I went to this school for 9 years (against my will) and I can truly say that this is a horrible school. From teachers talking about students behind their backs, to fights in the schoolyard, this place is downright terrible. I stayed home as much as possible and never wanted to attend. The students that DID attend make public schools in the area look like Harvard University. Do you, and your child a favor and please stay as far away as you can from this place.

St. Martin's is wonderful! The teachers are so kind and understanding! They really try to help every child and they have an amazing learning support program for kids, like mine, who need extra help. I can't say enough!

The school is okay. I have a second grader who has been there for one year so far. I agree that they are money hungry. Some of the extra curricular activities require money. I don't think they realize that parents do not have money for every single activity that the children are offered to participate in. The education is good for the most part. I don't have any other reservations outside of them being money hungry.

St. Martins is the best!!! Four generations of my family have belonged to this church and school. I have been a Lunch Monitor at the school for the past 2 years and I love it. The kids are great, the teachers are the best and they provide a very loving but strict environment for these kids. I have a child with learning difficulties and she is thriving in the Learning Support Center. SMT is the the greatest and I am so proud to be not only a graduate (1979) but to also be included in the SMT family!!!!

Ruined many lives. If you love your child. Do not send them here!
