“As a Boys' Latin alumnus, and current parent, I can proudly opine that BL is a truly wonderful school. A college preparatory school, steeped in tradition, BL has educated generations of Baltimore area young men since 1844. The school is divided into lower, middle, and upper components. The total enrollment (K-12), is 670 boys. One advantage to being a small private school is that BL has the ability to provide individual attention to each student. Teachers take an active interest in each student, and many faculty members have been at BL for a very long time. Teachers are also coaches, so the boys interact with their mentors on both the field and in the classroom. Long known for its lacrosse prowess, BL has a fine athletic program offering ten interscholastic sports. BL athletic facilities are incomparable, with two new turf fields and a spacious gymnasium.”
