St. Patrick's Episcopal Day School Reviews

I love this School. I sent both of my daughters and they loved it! you should send your children there. a little expensive but worth it

As a parent of two children at St. Patrick's, I have been tremendously impressed by the experience my children have received. The head of school, other administrators, and faculty all seem to really care about childhood and all that it entails on the one hand and quality, research-driven curriculum on the other. I have been particularly impressed with the teachers. So many of them seem to be quitessential professionals who are experts in their fields and understand what methods work best for teaching children. I have also thoroughly enjoyed the community at St. Pat's. It's warm and inviting, and there is plenty for children to do after school if they wish. My only slight criticism is that sometimes there seems like there's just a little bit too much 'fluff' (i.e. non-academic activities) that can encroach on instructional time, but this seems true in most DC private schools.

St. Patrick's is an amazing school. Its extremely warm and nurturing and the academics are wonderful. They really support the children but also expect the best from each and every child. The administration and faculty seem to know each child very well. Peter Barrett, the head of school, knows each child by name and is often out front helping with carpool and chatting with parents and kids. He is the best head in all of the elite DC private schools.
