Sunday Morninz.com - Artist and Writer Mrs. McGee has a studio and business Fine Art, Books, cards, exhibiting in galleries, lecturing, and performance artist in Arlington Va. For the last 27 year McGee has created artwork, poetry, performance art, plays, and productions that reflects, history, heart, and soul. She is a graduate from Ohio Dominican College with a B.F.A in Fine Arts. McGee was mentored by Thomas Blackshear, Charles Dillard( Her Brother), and the artist of ACE in Columbus Ohio. She has exhibited through the Midwest and some location on the east coast. She has had one international show in Marseilles France with great success. She has recently exhibited at the National Black Women Congress in D.C . Her Artwork was featured on MPT.ORG ARTWORK show this past October. Her style reflect the loose emotional paint texture of the impressionist combined with a feel of historical vibrancy. She is an historical artist preserving her culture and history. Mrs. McGee is a published writers. As an writer she has written a VBS book for youth and co-authored 2 books. She has several novel and series she is presently self-publishing. She is married to Ramon McGee and has 2 children. Jamile McGee her son was a 3rd place winner on the Fox show " So you think you can dance?" Her daughter Jasmine McGee is an high school student with artwork that is being auction for a US Senator Campaign. McGee has spent all of her life creating and producing art that speak to the spirit, soul, and heart.
